Project: Recovery and enhancement of the historical path “Camí La Plana”, which has its own cultural value, in order to transform it into a 3.8 km cycle-pedestrian green corridor, as well as into a safe road for vehicle traffic.
Budget: 4,504,000 euros
Social Impact: This new green corridor brings this part of the natural and historical heritage of the city closer to its people and thanks to the cycle path, it promotes outdoor life and physical activity too. It is important to emphasise the environmental commitment side of this action as with this space transformation a new green ring is added to Castelló de la Plana and the cycle path network is extended too, thus reinforcing the use of sustainable low-carbon transport (as an alternative to motorised transport), and healthy leisure.
