Project: Installing dynamic and visual information panels by using SAE (Operation Assistance System – SAE in its Spanish acronym) technology at the stops of the local public transport network in order to provide users with real-time relevant data such as waiting times according to destinations, diversion of bus lines, incidents or any other message regarding the status of the service. The action plans to expand this technology to 41 new bus stops.
Budget: 494,449’56 euros
Social Impact: This technology allows urban public transport users to obtain real-time information on multiple media, making the access to information at any time or place easy, thus facilitating the mobility in the city. New panels increase the service quality and provide citizens with honest information. With these new 41 stops, almost 30% of those making up the Castelló public transport network will offer real-time information.
