Río Seco Bridge: creating city

Project: To build a bridge of 41.5 metres long, 6 metres high and 14.6 metres wide over the Río Seco river, between Avenida Alcora and the extension of Calle Jesús Martí Martín, located in the Raval Universitari neighbourhood. It includes the extension of the existing roundabout.

Budget: 1,559,058 euros.

Social Impact: The new Rio Seco Bridge is an infrastructure designed to create city and to transform it into a more walkable, livable and comfortable space. To connect people and advance towards achieving an innovative and sustainable urban model. Its aim is to eliminate the urban barrier that still separates the West zone from the rest of the city; to connect and revitalise different neighbourhoods (Crèmor and Raval Universitari) and to provide citizens with resources and public services.
